These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MileTracker mobile application ("App") provided by Essential Dev Team ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MileTracker, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

MileTracker is a mileage tracking application that helps users:

• Automatically and manually track driving trips
• Record mileage for tax deduction purposes
• Categorize trips (Business, Medical, Charity, Personal)
• Generate mileage reports
• Calculate potential tax deductions using IRS standard mileage rates

3. Account and Subscription

Free Tier: MileTracker offers a free tier with limited features (15 trips per month).

Premium Subscription: Additional features are available through paid subscriptions:

• Monthly subscription: $9.99/month
• Yearly subscription: $89.99/year

Subscription Terms:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
• No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information when using the App
• Maintaining the security of your device
• Ensuring your device has adequate storage and battery for trip tracking
• Verifying the accuracy of tracked trips before using data for tax purposes
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Tax Disclaimer

We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy of GPS-tracked distances
• That your trips qualify for tax deductions
• The correctness of IRS mileage rates displayed (rates may change)
• Acceptance of MileTracker reports by the IRS or any tax authority

6. Accuracy and Limitations

While we strive to provide accurate mileage tracking:

• GPS accuracy depends on environmental factors and device capabilities
• Automatic trip detection may occasionally miss trips or record unintended trips
• You should review and verify all tracked trips
• We recommend keeping backup records of your mileage

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, content, and code, is owned by Essential Dev Team and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without authorization
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• We are not liable for any loss of data, profits, or tax benefits
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Essential Dev Team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

You may stop using the App at any time. Deleting the App will remove all local data from your device.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Apple-Specific Terms

If you downloaded MileTracker from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and Essential Dev Team, not Apple
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App
• Apple is not responsible for any claims related to the App
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms
