Troubleshooting
🔴 Trips aren't being detected automatically
Make sure location services are set to "Always" (Settings → Privacy → Location Services → MileTracker → Always). Also ensure Motion & Fitness is enabled and Background App Refresh is on.
🔴 GPS accuracy seems off
GPS accuracy depends on satellite visibility. Tunnels, tall buildings, and bad weather can affect accuracy. For best results, wait a few seconds after starting the app before beginning your trip.
🔴 iCloud sync not working
Ensure you're signed into iCloud with the same Apple ID on all devices. Check that iCloud Drive is enabled (Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → iCloud Drive). Try toggling the sync setting off and on in MileTracker settings.
🔴 App is draining battery
MileTracker is optimized for low battery usage, but continuous GPS tracking does use power. If you notice unusual drain, try disabling auto-detection when not needed, or set tracking to "Weekdays only" in Configure settings.
