The app says it cannot access my photos.
Open iOS Settings › Apps › EXIF Pro › Photos and choose Full Access or Limited Access. With Limited Access, tap + (Import Photos) on the Photos tab to add more photos.
How do I remove the location from a photo?
Open the photo and tap Peel off on the Location layer (or Strip every layer), then Save copy or Share Clean Copy. To clean many photos at once, switch the Photos tab to a grid, tap Select, pick the photos and tap Remove location. Or open the Exposure tab and remove location from every photo at once.
Does Save copy delete my original?
Only if you tell it to. After saving, the app asks whether to keep or delete the original. You can set a permanent choice in Settings › After Save or Export.
I peeled off the layers, but the photo in my library still shows them.
Peeling layers changes the photo in the inspector only. Nothing is written until you tap Save copy or Share Clean Copy. The cleaned version is the new copy (or the shared file), not the original.
Why does the file size say "Unknown"?
For photos still in iCloud, the size appears once the original has been downloaded. Opening the photo triggers the download.
Which formats can be edited?
JPEG, HEIC and PNG are fully supported for reading and writing. Other photo formats may be read-only depending on their container. Live Photos are saved as a still copy. Video files are not supported.
How do I see the onboarding again?
Settings › Show Onboarding Again.
How can I delete all app data?
Deleting the app removes your settings, templates and other app data from the device (a small counter of free clean copies used stays in this device's keychain). If Share Usage Data was on, anonymous usage statistics tied to a random installation ID are kept on our server. Copy the ID from Settings › Privacy › Installation ID before deleting the app and email it to us, and we will delete that data.

- The EXIF Pro version (Settings › About EXIF Pro inside the app).
- What you expected, what happened instead, and a screenshot if you can. Please do not send photos containing sensitive personal information.
