Frequently asked questions
How do I save something from another app?
Tap the Share button in any app — Safari, social media, Photos — and choose Keepstack. Pick a category and tags if you like, then tap Add to Library. The save appears in your stack the next time you open the app. If Keepstack doesn’t appear in the share sheet, scroll right, tap More, and enable it.
What can I save?
Six types of content: web links, notes, photos & screenshots, videos, audio memos, and PDFs. Use the + button in the app or the share extension from other apps.
How does the AI work? Is my data sent anywhere?
All AI runs on your device using Apple’s built-in frameworks. Keepstack reads the text inside your screenshots, summarizes saved pages, auto-tags your saves, and sorts them into categories — without sending anything to a server. There is no account and no cloud.
How does search find things without exact words?
Keepstack’s search understands meaning, not just keywords. Searching “that pasta sauce” can find a recipe even if those exact words aren’t in it. Your saves also appear in iPhone Spotlight search.
What does Keepstack Pro include?
The free tier lets you keep up to 50 items. Pro unlocks unlimited saves, with monthly and yearly plans (a free trial may be available). If you save more than 50 items from the share extension, the extra saves are held safely and added as soon as you upgrade — nothing is lost.
How do I restore or cancel my subscription?
To restore, open the Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases. To cancel, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device and manage Keepstack there.
Where is my data stored?
Everything stays on your device. Keepstack has no accounts and no server — your saves never leave your iPhone unless you share them yourself.
