Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the AreaCalc Pro Sq FT mobile application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AreaCalc Pro Sq FT, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
AreaCalc Pro Sq FT is a mobile application designed to help users calculate rectangular areas (square footage, square meters, square inches) for various purposes including flooring, painting, landscaping, and construction projects. The App provides:
- Area calculation tools
- Project management features
- Unit conversion between ft², m², and in²
- Pricing estimation tools
- Export and sharing capabilities
3. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes on any Apple device that you own or control.
4. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Important: The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or reliability of calculations
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Property damage
- Personal injury
- Errors in calculations or estimates
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any).
7. Accuracy of Calculations
Important: While we strive for accuracy, the calculations provided by the App are for estimation purposes only. You are responsible for verifying all measurements and calculations before making any purchasing decisions or beginning any projects. We are not responsible for any errors, miscalculations, or the consequences thereof.
8. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of measurements and data you enter into the App
- Verifying calculations before making decisions
- Backing up your project data
- Using the App in compliance with all applicable laws
9. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, content, and functionality, is owned by us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.
10. Updates and Changes
We may update the App from time to time. These updates may include bug fixes, new features, or changes to existing functionality. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without notice.
11. Termination
These Terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of their provisions. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Apple App Store Terms
These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any). Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
