Frequently Asked Questions
How do I calculate a tip?
Simply enter your bill amount on the Calculator tab. Use the slider or preset buttons to select your desired tip percentage. The app instantly shows you the tip amount and total.
How do I split a bill?
Use the + and - buttons in the "Split Between" section to set the number of people. The app will automatically calculate each person's share including their portion of the tip.
What is the "Large Party" toggle?
Many restaurants automatically add 18% gratuity for parties of 6 or more. If this gratuity is already included in your bill, turn on this toggle so the app can calculate any additional tip correctly.
How do I save a tip?
After calculating your tip, tap "Save This Tip" to record it. You can add a place name and category to help organize your tip history.
Can I change the currency?
Yes! Go to Settings and tap on "Currency Symbol" to choose from a wide range of currencies from around the world.
How do I delete my tip history?
You can delete individual tips by swiping left on them in the History tab. To delete all history, go to Settings → Clear All History.
Is my data secure?
Yes! All your data is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to any servers. Your tip history is completely private.
How do I restore my purchases?
Go to Settings → Support Us section → tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom. This will restore any previous purchases you've made.
