You can control the snake in two ways: Swipe gestures — simply swipe up, down, left, or right anywhere on the screen. Or use the on-screen buttons at the bottom of the screen. You can enable/disable the control buttons in Settings.
There are 99 levels in total! Each level increases the snake's speed, making the game progressively more challenging. Level 1 is the slowest, and Level 99 is incredibly fast. Can you beat them all?
Collect 50 apples to complete each level. A progress bar at the top of the screen shows how many apples you've collected. Once you reach 50, you'll advance to the next level!
You start with 5 lives. You lose a life when you hit a wall or your own tail. When you run out of lives, you can: Wait (1 minute per life), Watch an ad for an instant life, or Go Premium for unlimited lives.
Collect 25 apples in a single game session to earn an extra life (up to a maximum of 5 lives). A celebration animation will play when you earn a life!
Unlimited Lives is our premium feature that lets you play without ever waiting for lives to regenerate. Choose between a monthly subscription ($0.99/month) or a one-time lifetime purchase ($2.99). You can cancel the subscription anytime.
Go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used to make the original purchase. Your Unlimited Lives subscription will be restored automatically.
To cancel your subscription: Open the Settings app on your iPhone → Tap your Apple ID at the top → Tap Subscriptions → Select Snake 99 Reborn → Tap Cancel Subscription. You'll continue to have access until the end of your billing period.
No! Snake 99 Reborn works completely offline. You can play anywhere, anytime. Internet is only needed for Game Center leaderboards and in-app purchases.
Go to Settings in the app → Scroll to Statistics → Tap "Reset All Statistics". This will reset your high score and highest level. Note: This action cannot be undone!
TROUBLESHOOTING
- If the app crashes, try closing and reopening it
- Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store
- Restart your device if you experience performance issues
- For purchase issues, try "Restore Purchases" in Settings
- Ensure you have enough storage space on your device
- If Game Center isn't working, check your internet connection
