PULSE needs an iPhone with a Taptic Engine. Check that Settings › Sounds & Haptics › System Haptics is on. Low Power Mode can weaken haptics. The screen stays on during a session; vibration stops if you leave the app, because iOS doesn't allow haptics in the background.
Tap the big button to start. Pick Soft, Medium or Hard, set the speed and an auto-off timer, then choose a mode from Relax, Deep or Mine. Hold the iPhone against your neck, shoulders or back.
No. It's a relaxation app. Stop if anything feels uncomfortable, and ask a doctor first if you are pregnant, have an implanted device or a medical condition.
Free includes 4 modes (Steady, Waves, Breeze, Pulse), Soft and Medium intensity, and 5-minute sessions. Pro adds every mode including the guided Journey, Hard intensity, timers up to 60 minutes or no limit, and your own custom modes.
Weekly $2.99 (with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers), Yearly $19.99, or Lifetime $29.99 once. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Prices may vary by country.
Restore on a new iPhone: Settings › Restore Purchases. Manage or cancel a subscription: Settings › Manage Subscription in the app, or your iPhone's Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
PULSE follows your iPhone's appearance. To choose Light or Dark just for PULSE, tap the appearance button at the top of the main screen.
Only anonymous usage statistics, and you can turn them off. There's no account and no ads; your settings and custom modes stay on your iPhone. From version 1.0.1 the app sends anonymous statistics (like which modes are used and app crashes), never anything you type, and not linked to you. Turn them off in Settings › Privacy › Share Usage Data. See the Privacy Policy.
Delete a custom mode from Settings › My Modes, or delete the app to remove everything it stored. Nothing is kept anywhere else.
PULSE is designed for iPhone, which has the Taptic Engine that makes the vibration. It needs iOS 17 or later.
No. Vibration stops when PULSE leaves the foreground, because iOS doesn't allow haptics in the background. That's why the screen stays on during a session.
Journey is a guided session in the Deep tab. It moves through six stages — Settle, Flow, Ease, Rise, Deep and Rest — each with its own rhythm, and takes about seven minutes. It's part of PULSE Pro.
Yes, with PULSE Pro. Open the Mine tab and tap Custom: pick a base rhythm, set how long each vibration and pause lasts, test it, and save it. Read how to build your own rhythm.
No. PULSE asks for no permissions and doesn't use the camera, microphone, location, motion sensors, contacts or health data.
That's normal: long sessions can warm the phone and use battery. Use the auto-off timer, and take a break whenever you like.
