Frequently Asked Questions
Is TruckProfit really free?
Yes! The core calculator is completely free — including the monthly break-even calculator, per-load profit calculator, cost settings, break-even rate per mile, daily idle cost breakdown, instant profit/loss verdict, and the ability to save recent loads. No credit card required, no sign-up needed. TruckProfit Pro unlocks additional advanced features for a subscription fee.
What do I get with TruckProfit Pro?
Pro unlocks: multi-stop routes, zip-to-zip distance lookup, unlimited load history, PDF export, monthly reports, rate comparison tables, IRS per diem rates, factoring calculator, custom expenses, dispatch fee tracking, custom driving profiles, and multi-truck support. It's the complete professional toolkit.
How much does Pro cost?
TruckProfit Pro is available with three subscription options: Weekly at $2.99/week (includes a 7-day free trial), Monthly at $6.99/month, and Annual at $39.99/year (best value — save 74% compared to weekly). All subscriptions auto-renew and can be cancelled anytime through your Apple ID settings.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your iPhone Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → find TruckProfit Pro → tap Cancel Subscription. Your Pro access will continue until the end of the current billing period. You won't be charged again after cancellation.
Is my data stored on your servers?
No. All your calculator data — including costs, loads, settings, and history — is stored locally on your device. We don't collect or store your financial data on any external servers. Your data stays on your phone, period. See our
Privacy Policy for full details.
What happens to my data if I delete the app?
Since all data is stored locally on your device, deleting the app permanently removes all your saved data including cost settings, load history, and calculations. If you're a Pro subscriber, you can export your data as a PDF before uninstalling. Your subscription can be reactivated if you reinstall.
How accurate are the calculations?
TruckProfit's calculations are as accurate as the data you provide. The App uses standard mathematical formulas to compute break-even rates, per-mile costs, and load profitability. However, actual results will vary based on real-world factors like fluctuating fuel prices, road conditions, detours, and market rates. TruckProfit is an estimation tool — not a guarantee of specific outcomes.
What is a break-even rate?
Your break-even rate is the minimum rate per mile you need to charge to cover all your operating costs — including fuel, insurance, truck payments, maintenance, permits, and other expenses. Any load that pays above your break-even rate is profitable. Any load below it means you're losing money. TruckProfit calculates this number for you automatically based on your real costs.
Can I use this for a fleet / multiple trucks?
Yes! With TruckProfit Pro, you get multi-truck support which allows you to set up separate cost profiles for different trucks in your fleet. Each truck can have its own fuel efficiency, loan payment, insurance cost, and other unique variables — giving you accurate per-truck calculations.
