Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Coin & Dice ("the app"), published by Essential Dev Team ("we", "us"), handles information. We built Coin & Dice to be private by default. By using the app you agree to this policy.

The short version

• We do not require an account or sign‑in.
• We do not collect your name, email, or contacts.
• Your stats and settings are stored only on your device.
• We collect anonymous usage statistics (not linked to you, never used for tracking) — you can turn this off in Settings.
• We show ads through Google AdMob, which may collect data as described below.

Information stored on your device

Your flip/roll statistics, streaks, and preferences (coin color, background, sound, and similar) are saved locally on your device using Apple's standard storage and are deleted when you delete the app. Your totals, streaks and chosen emoji are never sent to us; the anonymous usage events described below may record that a flip happened or that a setting was changed.

Anonymous usage statistics

To learn which features are used and to fix problems, the app sends us anonymous usage statistics. These are tied only to a random installation ID created when you install the app — not to you, your Apple ID or your device's advertising identifier — and are never used for tracking or advertising. We collect:

• App and iOS version, device model, language, region, time zone and accessibility settings;
• When a session starts and ends, and which screen was last open;
• Which features you use (for example: a flip or roll completed and whether it was started by a tap, the button or a shake; coin vs. dice mode; which setting was changed — never the emoji you choose);
• Whether the Remove Ads offer was viewed or tapped, whether it was purchased or restored (never prices, receipts or Apple transaction IDs), and when a review prompt was requested;
• Crash and performance reports from Apple's MetricKit.

We never collect your name, email, phone number, address or location, never store or use your IP address, and never collect your advertising identifier (IDFA) or vendor identifier (IDFV). The data is stored with our backend provider Supabase and deleted after 13 months (diagnostics after 6 months). You can switch it off any time in Settings → Privacy → Share Usage Data, which stops collection and deletes anything not yet sent. To have data already sent deleted, email us the Installation ID shown in the same section.

Advertising

Coin & Dice displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob may collect and process certain information such as a device advertising identifier, general (coarse) location derived from your IP address, device type, and ad‑interaction data. This is used to deliver and measure ads.

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice any time in Settings → About → Manage Privacy Choices.

On iOS, we ask for your permission before any tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be less personalized. You can change this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Google's use of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can learn about ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. If you purchase Remove Ads, the app stops requesting and showing ads.

Purchases

In‑app purchases (such as Remove Ads) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple handles the transaction under the Apple Privacy Policy.

Children

Coin & Dice is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising is delivered in a manner intended to be appropriate for our audience.

Your choices & rights

You can reset your local statistics at any time in the app's Settings, turn off anonymous usage statistics (and request their deletion with your Installation ID), limit ad personalization through the ATT prompt or iOS Settings, and remove all app data by deleting the app. Depending on your region (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights regarding data processed by our advertising partner; please refer to Google's policy linked above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date on this page.
